Four Steps From Lab to Investment-Ready
Identify Promising Science & Engineering
We work directly with regional universities, research institutes, and founders to find scientific discoveries that are mature enough to leave the laboratory. We look for assets with genuine commercial potential - molecules, platforms, or technologies that will benefit from knowledge and infrastructure to accelerate company formation and growth.
Our relationships with technology-transfer offices, research institutes, and scientific founders give us early access to discoveries before they reach the broader market.
Form the Company
We teach the founders how to build the legal entity, governance structure, operating plan, and leadership team around the selected asset. Scientific founders receive a complete company acceleration plan, not a roadmap to build one themselves.
Legal and transactional work is partnered with Sidley Austin. Intellectual property strategy is partnered with Morrison Foerster. Entity formation and governance are in place before the first investor conversation.
Build the Investment Case
We develop the regulatory and clinical development strategy, construct the health-economics value and payer case, identify capital pathways, and introduce the company to investors and strategic partners.
Regulatory strategy is partnered with Pinpoint Regulatory Strategy. Health economics and payer evidence are built by co-founder Katie Brennan. Finance and investor introductions are supported by Danforth Advisors.
Operate Alongside Founders
Our leaders serve as entrepreneur-in-residence and executive chair. We take active operating roles, not advisory roles. Because the professional bench is already engaged, work begins immediately rather than waiting to recruit an entire team.
